Yes, we do need to have a completed organizer. This is to ensure that you let us know of any changes or updates to your information. To simplify the process, most of the information from the previous year will be pre-filled and you will only need to update any information that has changed. There are also a few questions that we are required by the IRS to ask every year.

Absolutely, you can file an extension on your tax return! We understand that sometimes you need a little extra time to get your finances in order. Filing an extension is a straightforward process that allows you to postpone your filing deadline, giving you until October 15th (September 15th for S-Corps & Partnerships) to submit your tax return. It's important to remember that while an extension grants you more time to file, it does not extend the time to pay any taxes owed. You must still estimate and pay any owed taxes by the original deadline to avoid penalties and interest. Rest assured, filing an extension does not increase your chances of being audited. The IRS does not flag extensions as audit triggers. Audits are generally prompted by other factors, such as discrepancies or suspicious activity in your reported income or deductions.
